The images are from the new show “Otaku Spirit FLAG Ignites” by super influencer #Tamura Jun#. It showcases the impact of Japanese animation across four distinct eras, from the 1963 anime “Astro Boy” to the 2019 hit series “Demon Slayer.”

There are definitely some you'll recognize and love, such as my personal favorites “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya,” “EVA,” “AKIRA,” and “Your Name.”

It's amazing how influential a big influencer can be. If Tamura Jun suddenly develops a taste for a Japanese band I recommended on my show, perhaps the true debut era of Japanese noise music will finally arrive.
