In this season's scoring charts, Messi leads the pack with 29 goals in 28 appearances, surpassing Bouanga (24 goals) and Surić (24 goals) to stand alone at the top. He also tallies 19 assists, ranking first in the entire league, achieving a double crown in both goals and assists.

In MLS historical totals, Messi's 48 direct goal contributions this season (29 goals + 19 assists) have surpassed most predecessors, trailing only Carlos Vela's 49 from 2019.
