Looking for recommendations for a first car for a girl, budget of $27732 . I've already looked at so many electric cars that my eyes are blurry.

My commute to work is relatively short, so I didn't want to buy a car before, thinking that I could just rely on taxis every day. The monthly cost was around $138 at most. Recently, the weather has been too hot, and I've encountered too many weird taxi drivers, such as those who play with their phones while driving, those with unbearable odors, or those who curse the whole way. So I decided to buy a car and drive myself.

Purpose: Commuting, picking up the elderly, and road trips (definitely after getting a car). The round trip to my hometown is 480 km via expressway, and I usually go back three or four times a year. I’ll mostly drive alone, but might occasionally carry my parents, elderly relatives, or friends.

Budget: Under $27732, the lower the better.

I’ve had my driver’s license for nearly 10 years, but I don’t drive often. I usually drive for my family, so I’m still a novice driver.

I haven’t purchased a parking spot and don’t plan to install a charging station. There’s a charging station near my neighborhood and one at my company. Parking fees in the neighborhood are low, at 5 RMB per entry/exit.

I’ve test-driven the Xpeng G6 and Xiaomi SU7. I prefer the Xpeng’s intelligent driving features because I’m not very good at parking... The Xiaomi SU7 is more aesthetically pleasing but slightly exceeds my budget. I may also try the Xpeng M03 Max. Are there any other electric vehicles you’d recommend? I plan to test-drive them all in one go over the weekend.

I’m not considering Tesla/NIO/Li Auto/BYD at the moment. Tesla: exceeds my budget, uncomfortable ride quality, and I can’t handle the 40-degree temperature on the roof; NIO: my dad drives one, it looks good, and battery swapping is convenient, but it’s over budget; Li Auto: beyond my budget + I don’t know much about it; BYD: no particular reason, just that I’ve ridden in a lot of BYD ride-hailing cars.
