Several high schools in South Korea have received bomb threat faxes in quick succession, prompting police to launch emergency searches.
According to South Korea's Chosun Ilbo, multiple high schools in Seoul received bomb threats on the 28th. Police and fire services conducted emergency searches, but no explosives have been found so far.

Reports indicate that on the morning of the 28th, police received an alert regarding threatening faxes claiming ‘explosives have been planted in high schools’. Verification revealed that six secondary schools across Seoul's Seocho-dong and Jeongneung-dong districts had all received identical faxes. Police and fire services promptly conducted comprehensive searches of the premises but found no explosives.
The report stated that in recent times, public facilities including government offices and schools across multiple districts in Seoul have frequently received similar threatening faxes claiming ‘explosives have been installed’. As recently as the 26th and 27th of this month, schools in South Korea received consecutive threatening faxes warning that ‘the school will be blown up’.
