The 15 members of the Security Council, including the United States, strongly condemned the attacks in Doha.

On September 11 local time, the United Nations Security Council issued a statement strongly condemning the attack that occurred in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on September 9. The statement expressed deep regret over the civilian casualties caused by the attack, which took place on the territory of a key mediator.
The statement noted that Security Council members emphasized the importance of de-escalating tensions and expressed solidarity with Qatar. Council members reaffirmed that supporting Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity aligns with the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter. They reiterated their support for Qatar's vital role in regional mediation efforts.
The statement underscored that securing the release of detained individuals and ending the war and suffering in Gaza must remain the international community's foremost priority. Council members called on all parties to seize the opportunity for peace presented by the diplomatic efforts spearheaded by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States.
It is understood that a Security Council statement requires the unanimous consent of all 15 members, meaning that all members, including the United States, condemned the attack.
On September 9, Israeli forces carried out an airstrike targeting senior Hamas officials in Doha. Hamas reported multiple casualties in the attack, but stated that Israel's attempt to assassinate senior Hamas leaders “failed.”
